2009-2010 Operating Committee

Geoff Bacino (President) - Operates a consulting/lobbying shop in Alexandria, VA. Has two children at the school - Madi (4th) and Haden (K).

Erin Moore (Vice President) - Vice President at Sandy Spring Bank. Two children - Joseph (3rd) and Nick(1st).

Emily Weyrich (Treasurer) - Served 10 years in Commercial Real Estate Development. Three children at St. Bernadette -Matthew (7th),Michael (4th) and Katherine(3rd).

Gail O'Grady (Secretary) - Works for Fox News' Chris Wallace. Has two children at the school - Grace (5th) and Jack (2nd).

Mary Fedorochko (Ways & Means Chair) - Responsible for fundraising, Mary has raised considerable money for both the school and the parish over the past three years. She has three children at the school - Rory (4th), Adian (1st) and Fiona (K).

Christine Garchana (Cultural Arts Co-Chair) - Plans and promotes the outside speakers for school programs. Christine has two children at St. Bernadette's -- Jonathan (5th) and Lexi (4th).

Maureen Guenther (Cultural Arts Co-Chair) - Has three children at the school - Spencer (4th), Maddie (1sst) and Molly (K).

Theresa Nguyen (Lunch Coordinator) Coordinates the volunteers needed to run our lunch program on a day-to-day basis. She has

Carole Vogel (Grade Rep K-5) - Runs the grade room programs and also co-chaired the Fall Festival. Carole has three children at the school - Julia (5th), Jenna (3rd) and Zack (K).

Joanmarie Kwalwasser (Grade Rep 6-8) - Co-chaired the Fall Festival and has served as PTO President at her previous school. Joanmarie's daughter Caitlin is in the 6th grade.

Joan Cantarelli (Charter Chair) - Processes any changes to the PTO charter. Joan also serves as the Band Parent. She has two children at St. Bernadette's - Nicole (8th) and AJ (5th).

Sharon Hanson (Volunteer Coordinator) - Recruits the outstanding volunteers needed to provide programs and services for the entire school. Sharon has two children at the school - Julie (7th) and Patrick (4th).
