Student Activities

Our JrCYO sports programs are run through our Youth Ministry Office. We try to give our youth an opportunity to develop athletic skills while making friends and learning about healthy Christian competition. Currently we offer tennis, basketball and track, but with enough interest there are leagues available for volleyball, baseball, softball and cheerleading.

CYO Tennis

JrCYO Tennis is an opportunity each fall for First through Eighth grade students to learn, enjoy and compete in a wonderful life long sport. The practices should start in September and matches begin in October against many other parishes' teams across the diocese. Grades 1 through 3 are mainly  instructional.

CYO Basketball

JrCYO Basketball is a winter sport for grades 4 through 8. We have boys' and girls' teams that begin practicing in November to prepare for a December through March season against parishes across the diocese. The fourth and fifth grade teams are considered more instructional while the 6th through 8th grade teams are a little more competitive.

CYO Track

JrCYO Track consists of a few track and cross country meets a year. Each meet is a little different in terms of who is eligible to compete, but it is a great way to challenge our students and learn about Christian competition.
