PROGRAM OVERVIEW

CYO LARGE GROUP
EVERY OTHER SUNDAY FROM 7-9PM IN THE GYM/YOUTH ROOM
All high schoolers are invited to attend. The first hour is a social activity (ultimate frisbee, glow-in-the-dark volleyball, scavenger hunt, etc.), and then we gather in  the youth room for a talk on the practical aspects of living out the Faith in daily life. We cap off the evening with pizza and ample time for fellowship. This is a great place to meet new people, have fun, and receive some spiritual food before heading into the new week.

OASIS
ONE SUNDAY A MONTH FROM 7-9PM IN THE CHAPEL
Oasis is a monthly Holy Hour for teens that combines praise & worship music, a guided meditation, and confessions with Eucharistic Adoration. It's a chance to take a break and re-center ourselves in prayer after facing the busy-ness of the world. Holy Hour lasts from 7-8pm, with fellowship in the youth room from 8-9pm.

OFFERINGS
SATURDAY MORNINGS ONCE A MONTH
We know that teens are hungry to serve and make an impact in the world. Through Offerings, we provide regular opportunities to make offerings of ourselves to God and to others in the form of local community service. This year, we will be focusing our service on working with the elderly at Sunrise Assisted Living.

MEN OF VALOR
EVERY TUESDAY OR WEDNESDAY FROM 7-9PM
The Christian life is tough. It demands real courage and real strength. Just as athletes and soldiers must undergo training for the challenges they will face, we must train ourselves if we expect to prevail in the spiritual battle. In these small-group meetings, we'll band together as guys to train ourselves for the challenges of Christian discipleship in the world we live in.  There will be two guys' small groups in operation this year, each meeting from 7-9pm on either Tuesday nights (off-site) or Wednesday nights (in the youth room).  Contact Jim if you'd like to join a small group.

LADIES OF GRACE
EVERY TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, OR THURSDAY FROM 7-9PM
Girls need girl-time, especially if we are aiming to set an example of radiance and virtue in the midst of our fallen world. Ladies of Grace is a program that offers opportunities for girls to gather together in a small-group setting and discuss the ups and downs of upholding our identity as daughters of an Almighty King. There  will be 4 girls' small groups in operation this year, all of which will meet from 7-9pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday nights.  Additionally,  we'll have periodic events that bring the girls' small groups together to have fun and rejoice in sisterhood. INDIVIDUAL DISCIPLESHIP
TIMES ARE TAILORED TO THE STUDENT, USUALLY AT A LOCAL STARBUCKS
Disciples aren't born; they are made. Authentically living out our Faith takes effort, discipline, and guidance. For those who are serious about following Christ and  are interested in receiving more focused direction in deepening their relationship with our Lord, Jonna, Jim, and other adult volunteers are available to meet with students one-on-one over coffee as desired.

SOCIAL EVENTS
PERIODICALLY
Good, clean fun is getting harder and harder to come by, but we think it's also essential to living life to the full. So we'll be organizing social events to give you a chance to get out and just have a good time. Sometimes it will be things you already love doing, like paintballing or a trip to King's Dominion. Other times it might  be a totally new experience for you, like rock climbing or swing dancing. Either way, we guarantee a good time and good company! Keep an eye out for upcoming events in the bulletin or on the church bulletin board, and join us any time!
